Purchased one of the white hss versions of this and it easily beats out my hardtail fender strat in every way but one. Wouldn't mind an accessible choice of pickguard. I painted the pickguard myself, but for it to stand toe to toe with a guitar over twice the price screams the value you get here.

I purchased Esp snapper custom. I got the same problem. I really do not like the turtle shell pickguard.  But can i fin ESP pickguard. Forget it.

This guitar is great but You really should bring out a version that has a gotoh 510 6 screw vintage tremolo instead of a hardtail bridge.
Keep the 24 frets.
