What's the difference between an EC-1000 and an EC-1001?

Todd B. ESP

Hi, it's the same model with some specification changes. The previous version had different color binding, pickups, rings and hardware color. This new version has been updated with black binding, direct mount pickups and black hardware, stainless steel frets. Todd B...I have placed an order for one of these about 3 weeks ago,and wondering if these for now are still on the original anticip, ted release date/months,as in March or April of 2021 ?  I have 3 other LTD's and really like them and ready to check mine out here at home.

Todd B. ESP

Hi, glad to hear you like your ESP LTD's....It would be best if you check with your sales rep or dealer regarding your purchase and when it may be available. Many new models are making it to dealers and customers but there are still backorders for us to fill and with the state of the world currently, things are taking much longer for us to receive the product. Thanks for your continued patience.

Thanks for the info..I just hope mine looks as perfect as this one in this picture..that flame matching is incredible !

Do you know the average weight on these guitars?

Thanks.

Todd B. ESP

Hi, the weight will vary but average weight would be around 9.5lbs.

If I decide to check this guitar out I will definitely be looking at the Korean version due to as in my experience they have better QC than the Indonesian made ones

Todd B. ESP

Hi Gary, We do make this model in both countries. Please note that the guitar should be of excellent quality regardless of where it's made, and it will have passed our own quality assurance testing.
