Formerly called “ESP Standard”, all ESP E-II instruments are created at our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who accept no compromises in tone, feel, or reliability for their guitars and basses. The E-II EX NT is a killer guitar with a bold and angular design for musicians who like to make a statement from the moment they pull their guitar from the case. Available in Black and Snow White finishes, it features set-thru construction of a mahogany body and mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, 22 extra-jumbo frets, and a satin finish on the back for super smooth playability. The E-II EX NT includes premier-quality components like a bone nut, Gotoh locking tuners, a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, and ESP strap locks, along with a set of EMG 60 and EMG 81 pickups in Brushed Black Chrome. Includes an ESP hardshell form-fitting case.

I recently took ownership and love it apart from one thing….. the neck dive. So I altered its position of neck strap button which has cured it. Just a pity ESP couldn’t do what Gibson has done an alter strap button position in build phase.

Duraes87

even with that strap you had neck dive issues?

Cal Degan

Yea, even with wide strap.

Does the neck dive ?

I just received one of these. It was a lot lighter than I expected being made of Mahogany. It plays great though, i have no complaints...other than wishing it was heavier...felt more solid. All top notch materials.

I got the original ESP EX model and it's really a good guitar. The only difference it's the Ebony fingerboard. The only thing i hate from the E-II line it's the logo. I love the ESP logo... sorry...
