The ENGL CABLOADER may be the single most impressive pedal you can add to your arsenal. Much more than an incredibly impressive cabinet simulator, the CABLOADER is also a professional-quality DI box, and allows you to load your own impulse response (IR) audio files to continually update your sound in unique and exciting ways.

Cabinet, Power Amp, and Microphone Simulator

Using the CABLOADER, you’ll be able to simulate the tonal characteristics of a speaker cabinet from the guitar signal coming right off your pedalboard. Choose between a multitude of IR-based simulations of ENGL cabinets, from a single 12” E112 to the sound of a 4x12 E412; there are 12 built-in cabinet simulations in total. Additionally, you can choose the emulated responses of various power tube sets, like EL34, 6V6, and more. Then, not only can you select the simulation of a number of well-known dynamic and condenser mics (with ten mics to choose from); you can also adjust the center point and distance from the simulated mic for incredible control of your output signal. But you’re not limited to the wide variety of cabinet, amp, and mic simulations included with the ENGL CABLOADER. There are four user/third-party storage slots so you can use the mini-USB jack to load in IR files in WAV format that you can create, or that you get from your favorite manufacturers. With all this flexibility, you can create familiar great tones, or build virtual cab models that you might never be able to actually experience in real life!

Full DI Rig

You can use the CABLOADER to transform your pedalboard into a full DI rig, providing a perfect link from your amplifier to a recording interface, or even just give you a great way to hook up your pedals to your headphones for silent practice (with a dedicated headphone output). It also includes a 1/4” Thru jack, an unbalanced 1/4” output jack, and a balanced XLR output, and a Ground Lift switch for ease in connection to recording or live sound systems. As complicated as all the digital wizardry that’s going on inside this little box is, the CABLOADER was designed with sheer simplicity and ease of use in mind!
