PHOENIX-1000
PHOENIX-1000
VINTAGE WHITE

Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. The LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1000 Vintage White offers a classic vibe in both looks and tone, but offers you excellent sonic variety with its set of passive Seymour Duncan pickups: a single-coil Phat Cat in the neck position, and a hot output Custom in the bridge that can be split via a push-pull control. A neck-thru-body design, the Phoenix-1000 Vintage White offers a three-piece mahogany neck with Macassar ebony fingerboard, and mahogany body wings. Other features include a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, classy gold hardware, and LTD locking tuners.
I’ve had my LTD Phoenix-1000 for a few weeks now, and I have to say — this is hands down one of the best guitars I’ve ever owned. The build quality is absolutely top-notch, from the flawless finish to the perfectly set-up fretwork right out of the box. I was initially drawn to it because of the offset shape and the unique vintage white with gold hardware, but it’s the playability and tone that have really blown me away.
The neck is incredibly comfortable — I can stretch across the fretboard without feeling cramped, and the thin U shape is fast without being too flat. The combination of the Seymour Duncan Phat Cat and Custom Custom pickups gives me a huge tonal range, from warm and creamy cleans to thick, roaring leads with a ton of sustain.
I’ve owned a lot of guitars over the years, but this one feels like it has a permanent place in my collection. I was honestly considering a Gibson before this, but the Phoenix has made me forget all about it. ESP knocked it out of the park with this one
Hi mate. I found that a suede strap does the trick to grip onto your clothes at the shoulder. I used a Levy's one for years with my Viper that had neck dive. Personal preference now is I drill new strap holes, so I can have a more comfortable padded, leather strap for easier movement. I drill one further up the end of the body and put one the horn. I only recommend that if you're definately not going to sell though, as it'll most likely devalue your guitar!
Phoenix 1000 is amazing guitar, I see no point comparing it with any other guitar, it just so special. It rocks! And I love offset guitars. I am confused with the different description of the wood the neck was made of. Here, on your site, you say it's 3-piece mahogany. But, on many dealer sites, it says it's made of 3-piece maple!? So, what wood is the neck made of? My Phoenix is 2019 made in Korea, which wood did they use for necks?
