ECLIPSE '87
ECLIPSE '87
PEARL WHITE

While ESP first got started in 1975 as a small repair shop in Tokyo, it was really toward the mid ‘80s when our guitars and basses grabbed the attention of players around the world. The LTD ’87 Series are faithful recreations of this set of instruments from ESP’s 1987 catalog. Unlike the current single-cutaway Eclipse shape, the original ESP Eclipse was based on the TE archtop shape, which is the basis of the LTD Eclipse ’87. This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction with a mahogany body and three-piece maple neck. The ’87 Series Eclipse models offer a set of Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck) and JB (bridge) pickup set (with original style bobbins and a push-pull control to split the coils), and a Floyd Rose-1000 locking tremolo.
Hey guys! I just did a review and demo video for the '87 Eclipse! If you're interested in checking it out, you can find here: https://youtu.be/1oJfoEE3WRo

Long time Charvel user. Bought the Eclipse 87 NT turquoise as it was the spec I wanted. Great guitar. Love some more of these in the line. Turquoise or even Pearl Pink.
and like others have said, a single coil one would be good. Hot Rails set?
Would your custom shop do a carve top TE like this?
Lovely guitar, awesome sound.
Really sold on it.
Would love to get one with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail single coil in the neck position (like the Mirage Deluxe '87').
That would be a dream configuration for me. One can only dream no?
Possible?
Being a production model this will only come configured as shown, though our custom shop could handle nearly any request you throw at them
