    Tom Araya is the bassist and frontman of the iconic thrash metal band Slayer. His ESP Tom Araya FRX bass is crafted by hand at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. Each bass is meticulously created for the very best in aesthetic and performance details. It offers neck-thru-body construction at 35" scale for thunderous bass tones, with a comfortable alder body and a fast thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck. Tom's bass includes an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and custom Slayer pentagram inlays. Components on the ESP Tom Araya FRX include Gotoh tuners and bridge, and EMG 35DC active pickups. The bass includes a form-fit hard shell case and a Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
