Tottenham's Brazilian striker has admitted that psychotherapy

Tottenham's Brazilian striker has admitted that psychotherapy has helped him tremendously.

"He credits psychotherapy with saving his life and recommends it to others," the BBC reported on April 21 (ET). He may have also recommended it to teammate and captain Son Heung-min.

"He said he was at his lowest point but turned things around through therapy," the BBC added.

He has scored 10 goals in the Premier League this season. He is second on the team in scoring behind Son Heung-min.

"We know how prejudiced people are when we say we need psychological help. Fortunately, I don't have that prejudice anymore. It saved my life. I was at rock bottom. Only athletes know how much pressure we feel on and off the field," he said, emphasizing the importance of mental strength.

"I tell my teammates to actively seek help," he said, adding that he wanted to share his happiness from psychotherapy with his teammates.

"I was able to get the things that happen off the field out of my system. I'm happy and I've been able to turn things around," he said.

According to The Athletic, Hicharisson began counseling in earnest in September of last year. 'He spoke regularly with his therapist, and he found contentment off the pitch,' the publication said. Between December 10 and February 3, he scored nine goals in eight Premier League games," implying that his psychological stability has had a positive effect on his performance.

"The mental aspect is very important for a player. You shouldn't let the things around you distract you from playing on the pitch. I have a psychologist who is helping me. We have weekly sessions. I highly recommend it to athletes. 안전놀이터 추천 Once you start a session, you'll understand what I mean. It really helps me on the pitch. I feel completely at ease," he added tongue-in-cheek.

However, in a recent interview, Hicharisson slipped up. He said some unnecessary things and earned the hatred of his fans.

'The Sun', a British media outlet, reported on July 21 (KST) that 'He has angered Tottenham fans with his bold comments about playing for Brazil'.

'He has made it clear what his priorities are, whether for club or country,' The Sun said. He showed his passion for Tottenham but said the Brazil national team will always be his first priority.

"The Brazilian national team has a new coach . . I told him that for me, the national team comes first. There is God in heaven and the national team on earth. I showed faith. It's a new beginning."

Coincidentally, Hicharisson has missed Brazil's last three games with a knee injury. Brazil will face England on Sept. 24 and Spain on Sept. 27 in friendlies before the international break. His absence from the league is likely to be misunderstood by fans.
