Tottenham without Son Heung-min wins 1-0 over Burnley FA Cup Round of 32 Advancement

Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League (EPL), whose captain Son Heung-min left to participate in the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup, succeeded in advancing to the round of 32 of the FA Cup.

Tottenham won 1-0 in the 2023-24 FA Cup third round home game against Burnley held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England on the 6th (Korean time).

Son Heung-min joined the Korean national team to participate in the Asian Cup and missed this game. Tottenham replaced Son Heung-min with Richarlison, Brennan Johnson, and Dejan Blushevski. In the absence of Son Heung-min and two vice-captains, Rodrigo Bentancur took on the captain's armband.

Tottenham had a difficult game as they were blocked by Burnley's solid defense, but took the lead with defender Pedro Foro's goal in the 33rd minute of the second half. Foro hit the net with a powerful mid-range shot from the right outside the penalty box.

Afterwards, Tottenham did well to block Burnley's counterattack and finished the game 1-0, earning a spot in the round of 32.

Wolverhampton, without Hwang Hee-chan, recorded a 1-1 draw against Brentford and had to play a rematch.

Wolverhampton was outnumbered after Joao Gomes was sent off in the 9th minute of the first half, and was dragged away by giving up the first goal to Neil Murphy in the 41st minute of the first half.

However, in the 19th minute of the second half, Tommy Doyle scored an equalizer to tie the game. 스포츠토토맨
