Korean skeleton will take the stage at the 2023-2024 International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Cup.

Seung-gi Jeong (24) and Ji-soo Kim (29, Gangwon Provincial Office) will participate in the first round of the new season World Cup held at the Yanqing Sliding Center in China from the 17th to the 19th.

Yanqing Track is where the sledding race at the 2020 Beijing Olympics was held, and the skeleton race will be held on the 17th, the first day of the competition.

After the 1st Yenching Games, the national team will move to Europe and participate in the 2nd Games in La Plagne, France, and the 3rd Games in Innsbruck, Austria, before returning home and taking a Christmas break.

Kim Ji-soo, who finished 6th last season, said, "This season, my goal is to compete consistently without any ups and downs," and added, "I will work hard to get into 6th place in the season's overall ranking."

There is no time to try various things in the 2025-2026 season, when the Olympics will be held, and in the 2024-2025 season, when the focus must be on improving skills in preparation for the Olympics.
