The Vaxinator (AKA The Wedding Guestbook EX)

When life hands you lemons say"Screw the lemons" and build a sweet guitar with the dudes at ESP!  

Last year my wife and I had to postpone our destination wedding to Hard Rock Riviera Maya due to the pandemic. We ended up going to the courthouse and getting hitched anyway and using our 1 year anniversary to have our destination wedding. During our first wedding/legal day I had the idea to take an old neck I had scooped up in the basement at NAMM and using it to smash some Corona bottles in the parking lot of our local Guitar Center. We painted the neck accordingly and got the job done before the good people at GC Roseville CA could figure out what was going on (and yes we did clean up afterwards).

After our (first) wedding day I was able to get a hold of Todd at ESP. He located an old EX body along with the corresponding hardware to compliment our new family heirloom and shipped it out to me super quick. After a lot of sanding, priming, and my wife and I bouncing a few ideas back and forth, we landed on the design here. A few weeks later the guitar was finished and ready to go to Mexico with us. I disassembled the guitar and packed it in our checked luggage and went to Hard Rock Riviera Maya after a year of waiting. We were finally able to have our wedding ceremony with our friends and family on May 7th 2021 where we used the guitar as our guestbook.

I wanted to throw these up so the guys at ESP could see the final result and to say thanks again to Todd for locating the body and parts for me. My wife and I have the coolest guestbook ever!
