The ESP USA Pyrograph Series Skulls & Crows adds intricate handcrafted artwork to the high performance of the M-I FR-DLX. Crafted at our ESP USA facility in Southern California and featuring an incredible design burned into the guitar’s top surface by renowned fine artist Dino Muradian, only 10 of these guitars will be available worldwide. It offers a mahogany body with flamed maple top and bolt-on construction, featuring an extra-thin U-shaped quarter-sawn three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish for the smoothest and fastest playing experience. The Pyrograph Series M-I FR-DLX Skulls & Crows includes an ebony fingerboard with deluxe mother-of-pearl offset block inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets. Other premier-quality components include an Original Floyd Rose floating tremolo, Sperzel Trim-Lok tuners, Dunlop strap locks, and a single Seymour Duncan ’59/Custom Hybrid pickup with a push-pull coil split control on the tone knob.

Using magnifying lenses and custom pyrography tools, Dino Muradian painstakingly creates each of the pieces of musical instrument art with an unprecedented level of depth, dimension, texture, and expression in each piece. The artwork is situated on both the body and the headstock of the guitar, taking advantage of each instrument's unique dimensions to produce artwork that perfectly complements its shape. The M-I FR-DLX Skulls & Crows is an original design by Muradian, showing a desolate landscape view of a pile of skulls, with a black crow seemingly perched right on the guitar’s bridge while others fly in.
