The master luthiers at our ESP USA Shop in Southern California occasionally create special limited-edition versions of these masterfully-built instruments. Only 25 pieces of the ESP USA M-III 2PT Zebrawood will be made available worldwide. This guitar’s most notable feature is its hand-selected, figured Zebrawood top, highlighted by a layer of walnut and paired with an African okoume wood body, offering the visual cues of mahogany but with a more comfortable weight for great playing feel. It offers a quarter-sawn, satin-finished maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo Jescar FW57110 frets. The USA M-III 2PT Zebrawood is a bolt-on design that offers an H/S/S pickup configuration, featuring a Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special humbucker in the bridge, as well as Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Plus single-coils in the middle and neck spots. A top-of-the-line Gotoh EV510TS-FE is employed as this guitar’s two-point tremolo, offering great tuning stability and sustain.

FEATURES

OKOUME BODY

Okume is an African hardwood with a grain pattern similar to mahogany, but with two advantages. It is lighter than a similarly-sized mahogany guitar, making it more comfortable for long gigs, and its tone is more articulate for outstanding solos and powerful riffs.

Each ESP USA limited edition model is hand numbered by our builders, making them valuable for both their excellent musical performance and their collectibility.
