The name says it all with the USA M-II NTB FR. “NTB” stands for “neck thru body”, and “FR” stands for Floyd Rose, and that’s what you get: a shredder’s dream for those who love the stability and sustain of guitars with neck-thru construction, along with the expressive power of a Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo system. Crafted by the expert luthiers at our ESP USA facility in Southern California, the USA M-II NTB FR is built at 25.5” scale, pairing a fast and comfortable extra thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with mahogany body wings. Its sumptuous flamed maple top is finished in See Thru Black Sunburst for an elegant aesthetic look. It provides an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets.

Designed for professional-level players, the parts and components on the USA M-II NTB FR are second to none, and include an Original Floyd Rose floating tremolo with stainless steel upgrades, Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners, Dunlop Straplok buttons, and a set of direct-mounted EMG 81X (bridge) and EMG 85X (neck) active pickups. The renowned combination of the EMG 81/85 takes a step up with the addition of the X Series preamp, giving these pickups a more dynamic range along with increased headroom while keeping the more traditional string-to-string balance. The 81X will make leads slice right through even the densest mix, while the alnico magnets of the 85X provide a muscular growl and smooth tones that enable tones for everything from the blues to the most extreme metal.

The USA M-II NTB FR includes a custom ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case, and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
