    Hi,

    currently I'm looking for a new Ltd. I'm interested in models from the M, MH or H series.
    Unfortunately there is no model with 6 strings, a floyd bridge, thin U neck (not extra) and 2 active humbucker pickups (emgs)

    Except for the pickups the Ltd H-1001FR really fits, so my question ist:
    Ist it possible to exchange the passive duncans for active emgs (like 81/60 or 57/66), especially because the pickups are direct mounted? As far as I now the emgs are slightly bigger. Is there enough space? The battery should fit in the control cavity.

    Yes, EMGs would be fine.
