Old ESP neck

    I bought a 2003 squire start at a garage sale for $35. The neck was a banana and the ugly dark blue color was covered in stickers. I finally stripped everything off and replaced the neck with an old ESP strat replacement neck (which was another garage sale find..another story).

    The neck is fantastic. I mean better than any Fender necks I have played, and I'm no spring chicken. Does anyone know what year this neck may have been made?  Late 70's?  I bet it's sought after because it plays like a dream.  Ebony board too I believe.  Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
