Upgrading
Hello! I'm very poor, and couldn't get an EC-1000 or ESP II Eclipse model. I plan to slowly upgrade the guitar ( I have the Snow White EC-256) I plan on changing the pickups out from stock to Seymour Duncan Black Winters. I hope to get a bone nut installed, as well as Black GraphTech tuners. Then I hope to finish it off with an upgraded tail piece. Will these changes help the guitar sound better? Do you see any difficulty with these upgrade? I'm hoping it improves the sound and it's not just putting makeup on a horse so to speak. Thanks for your time!

I have an EC-256 that plays and sounds just as good as my EC-1000’s. I changed stock pickups to Seymour Duncan JB in bridge and 59 in neck. Biggest thing that helped playability with my 256 was replacing the stock bridge with a Tone Pros T3BT locking bridge. This greatly improved the action. I wouldn’t mess with the nut, tuners, or tailpiece unless you really want to.
