Did those tuners actually fit when you attempted to install them? I bought a set after being informed by the ESP team they were direct replacements, but they are quite a bit larger than the stock tuners. Also, there is drilling and/or reaming to be done to the mounting holes in order to make them fit and I don't have the tools or skill for that.

I'm not sure yet.  I haven't bought the tuners because I've been nervous they aren't a direct fit and I haven't found a retailer who sells these tuners and will accept returns if the tuners are opened.  I'll try to take measurements once I have the measuring tools to do so before making a purchase.    I too don't have the skillset or tools to make modifications to the headstock should the tuners not be a direct fit.
