ebony or rosewood fretboard ?

    ebony or rosewood fretboard ?

    I'm considering an EII MII , but I'm still searching the best combination fretboard . ebony or rosewood ? since they come with an alder body and EMGs , what do you recommend for essentially playing metal ?

    I don't think it matters. The fb wood will have very little effect on sound. Pick whichever you prefer aesthetically.

      While either choice will work well for your preference, ebony is dark in color and has a bright tone, and rosewood has a brown/red coloring and is warmer in tone.
