Guitar Scratch Reomver (GSR) worked for me. You can get it on Amazon in UK and from their site in America. Check what type of finish it is to be sure before you apply it. It comes in two tubes with a cloth. Great customer service too.

I tried it on a white Charvel San Dimas (one of the recent ones) now gone. It seemed to work well on light scratches on the back, it depends on how bad yours are on the neck of your guitar.

These are heavier scratches. Looks to be only in the clear coat
