Painting a Guitar

    I have an old guitar body that I'd like to paint but I'm not sure which paint to use as there are multiple kinds. Should I use a brush, spray can or roller? Then after the paint would I use a spray can for the e lacquer or can that be applied with a brush? One last thing is there any way to keep the new case smell when you buy a guitar? It's heavenly

      That new case smell is foam and glue oxidizing. Not exactly heaven scent!

          Crazy__ does a good job of explaining this EXCEPT that your guitar has an epoxy finish which cannot be stripped with any type of stripper available to the general public. 
          I would suggest you  leave it as is or you might end up with a mess. If you insist on doing it then just sand the existing finish with 180 grit send paper and apply the paint over it.
