Noise Suppressor Hook Up

Noise Suppressor Hook Up
Good day all, I was wondering if it's best to run a noise suppressor, a Boss NS-2 in my case in through the input or through the effects loop. I'm trying to add a new pedal to my set up and I'm trying to make the mess of adaptor cables fit. What are the pro's and con's of each way if there are any. Thanx in advance.

Thanks, that's great.

Are you sure that diagram is correct?

EDIT: Derrr, okay. I had to do some thinking there.

still havent tried that hook up as I just run it front end. My effects loop is always off unless I have delay or chorus (Peavey effects loop is foot switchable). Might try this tho because when I ran my G-Majors gate just on a little in the loop it really brought back a lot of articulation, as it should since it's cutting un-needed gain meaning not the actual gain I wanted on the notes, more from pre amp noise that may "mask" your notes or cause them to be overly distorted.

Thanks for the advice. I ended up plugging my GE-7 through my effects loop and the NS-2 through the front end with my distortions pedals through the NS-2's send & return and that is working really well.
