The ht pedal may get what you want but it's still only an overdrive/distortion going into a digital amp, granted the tube circuitry may get you a warmer tone, but you may be better off getting a lower wattage tube amp...

Depends really you'll likely end up with a full tube amp down the road, so you will be loosing money on pedals unless it's an od that you will keep for later use...

Unless you absolutely need the versatillity and effects inbuilt into the majority of the line 6 range you might be better off with a simpler rig, and a few effects...

What kinda line 6 amp is it that you have? You might just be better off getting a new amp
