hey peeps, i have a cheap, well won les paul knock off, and at any volume on the dirty channel i get serious feed back, i took a look at the wireing cavity and it looks like a blind guy did the wireing, could that be the problem or could it be a poor ground or overall cheap pick ups?

It's not a ground issue that causes feedback, but I'm sure it has grounding problems. You KNOW you have to re-wire the whole thing anyways. Might as well do that and see what works and what doesn't once you know the wiring isn't garbage.

i have no idea, i took them out of the body and its got humbucker stamped on the underside of of the pup...i won the damn thing on a boardwalk on the new jersey shore, the neck plays pretty nice so i kept it....its just feedbacking real bad and id consider dumping some cash into it to fix it...thanks guys, ill take it to a buddy of mine for a re-wire
