2 guitars --> 1 amp

    I've just ordered an acoustic guitar that I have planned to use live. I know there are switches that let you switch between two amps, are there switchess that let you switch between two guitars? forexample the electric and the acoustic? thanks! :)

    I've never tried using one of the A/B switches the other way, but in theory it should be able to work that way.

      You mean the one that holds the guitar in playing position so you can walk up to it? I've seen them on musicians friend, but I don't remember what it was called. Try searching acoustic stand.

              just 2nding what's already been said:

              an aby will do it,
              howver,
              an acoustic and an electric? depending on what amp you're using, chances are you shouldn't put the acoustic thru it,
              you can put an acoustic into the PA, what helps a lot here is to use an acoustic preamp first, can be the small fishman dealie or something more fancy, i myself use a discontinued Crate CA-1P and i love it.
