    Anyone know what type of truss rod a 2010 ESP Standard Phoenix would have?

    It's dual-acting. I'm not aware of the brand.

      Interesting, I have a truss rod that when I counter-clockwise the nut, it eventually goes loose and I have not tried but I imagine it would eventually just come off. I wonder if I need to tighten it, and continue to tighten until it reverses direction. Any insight you have on this would be appreciated. Thanks! (ESP Standard Eclipse is the guitar)

        Update: You are 100% correct, Dual-Action. Just needed to keep turning once the nut felt loose.
