Have any of you guys/gals tried to install the EMG 57TW/66TW set into a EC-1000 Deluxe? I want these pups, but I'm afraid they won't fit seeing they're over an inch thick! I had purchased an LTD EC-1001 Tiger Eye with fluence classics, and they were so thick (thinner than the EMGs though) that I couldn't get the neck fluence low enough to lower the action to my liking. The factory had actually accidentally bent the tabs on each end of the pickup (for the mounting screws) trying to lower the neck pickup and it being bottomed out against the cavity. Now the Fluence equipped guitar was a direct to body pickup design compared to this EC-1000 which has the pickup rings. Thank you in advance, guys!
