Pick up height

    I just got my KH602 in and the bridge pick up is offset in height. The bottom end of pickup is screwed down all the way flush to bottom of casing, while the top of the pickup is standard height. Is this normal or should I be adjusting height to be uniform?

    I'm replacing an emg 81 my older h1000 but had to hack saw the pickup out as the screws couldn't be removed.   Manged to get the pickup out however i need a new ring for the new pickup. The bridge pickup ring was plastic and seamed to be tapered but the neck pickup ring is metal and flat. Anyone know which one i need for the bridge?
