I have black stain on the back of my maple neck where headstock meets neck

    I have the annoying black stain on the back of my neck where the headstock meets the neck I almost think it’s the truss rod but I’m not sure please help thanks

        Just keep sanding. That's just paint that's settled into the grain of the maple.

            Someone please help further I tried sanding it more and it is still there clear as day

              Then it's just a mineral stain in the wood. No big deal.

                Is there any way to remove it or make as least visible as possible ?
