Might pull the trigger on an abused vintage black Eclipse since it could be a cool base for a relic job. I have no experience in relicing guitars but I’ve heard that poly finished guitars don’t fare as well as nitro finishes when it comes to relicing.

Has anyone tried sanding down a VB Eclipse?

Any input would be very helpful!
