not the heads, the wood. ill tighten them, and after it gets so tight, it strips out and is very loose all of a sudden. how do i fix this? do i fill the hole with something that will harden up and redrill?

i would fill the holes with something and re-drill for sure, that or you can try using a little sliver of wood in there, it might give it enough to grab on to

While not the "correct" way to fix it, you can stick a few toothpicks in the hole and then screw into that.

I did this when I stripped the holes for my strap on my LTD. It worked pretty decently until those ultimately got ripped out, too. It would probably work better in your situation, though.

Roidster

toothpicks or sawdust with carpenters glue
