Cleaning the fretboard - dangerous without strings?

I want to clean the rosewood fretboard on my LTD M-10 but I have to remove all the strings first. Is it dangerous for the neck to remove all the strings? Will it cause it to bow? ESP advises to change strings one at a time because there is great tension in the neck. My guitar has a fixed bridge (if that helps). Thank you in advance, Fotis

I get people bringing in guitars all the time to change a single broken string because they don't know how. The only thing I ever took my guitar in for when I was young was to get it setup and if it had a problem with the electronic. One day I just asked if I could learn how and my tech showed me. Nowadays I am the one getting paid to do things that most guitar owners should know how to do by themselves.
