Which one is better? What's the fucking difference between them??

They both suck.

They both suck.

+1

I don't know if I have had experience with a LH300 (a LH of some sort) but I don't like HZ's at all. Some people do as they are the passive version of the active EMGs... it all boils down to preference really.

Great post!

From my experience with it, the LH-300s are really not that different from the HZs. When I tried them, both pickups were equipped on a basswood-bodied guitar. Wasn't too big of a difference, really. Supposedly, the HZ (H-4 specifically) is like the 81 without the "active". The LH-300s are pickups developed by ESP and designed by EMG, so pretty much manufactured to be equivalent of the H4. I'm not saying I have the best ear at all to tell the difference, but it would be minimum if any...then again, this is just from my experience...

Mr.Dahl

yeah I know, but which of them is better?

Mr.Dahl

okii.. so.. are the LH-300 pickups better than the hz's?

They both suck, but ouot of the bets of a bad bunch id take the HZ as id prefer the dry-ness of them over the over-processed-ness of the LH-300s.

You know what UK pickups id put in to replace them!!!!
