My 6505 is broke!

    My 6505 is broke!
    First noticed this problem yesterday. I had the amp on standby for a while, and when I turned it on, it made a bit of a crackle and hiss and no sound came out. Turned it off for a while, switched it back on and she was fine. After playing for about an hour another crackle and hiss and the sound dropped to barely audible. Again, let it sit for a while and she was okay again. The same thing has happened again today. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

      Im thinking that it's Toob related a bad pramp tube will be detectable by turning the amp on not too loud and tapping the pre's witha pencil if one squeals it's bad, though if it's a bad power tube you just need a new quad....

      I can't exactly remember the ins and out's of tell tale toob problems havent had any with my valveking yet and the fender clone didnt stay long enough to need new toob's sooo..

      How long ave ye had the 6505 and if the tubes are replacements how long have they been there?
