I have heard that the Japan Custom Shop can do a few things for Japanese buyers that they cannot do for buyers in the U.S. (more specifically involving headstocks, if you catch my drift)
Is this true, and how do I contact the ESP Japan Custom Shop?
Thank you!
What determines that they will do it for a Japanese buyer? How do they go about doing this?
I guess you need to find either a Japanese dealer or someone with physical presence in the country. I don't think they deal with private customers. The issue is that they cannot ship a guitar that infringes copyrighted designs. You would have to go there and collect.
If it is something already out in the market, or you have a japanese friend that knows a local dealer, you can try and check.

It is. You need to get it as a Japanese order and physically pick it up. I don't think they ll do it for just anyone however.
