    Hi guys a friend is selling a KH-2 Distressed black Its an ESP not LTD.. However the back of the guitar doesn't have what looks to be a steel flap for the battery I've seen on other listings for this model? This guitar just has the standard plastic pick up switch cover and bridge cover.

    whats the deal with that? Image attached of ones I've seen for sale on websites. One my friend has is missing that flap.. Cheers.

    The battery compartment was added to the model starting around 2008 (not positive of the year.) Older models don't have it.
