The ESP Guitar Company

I bought a new LTD EC Arctic, worked fine for 3 weeks, then no more conenction to my amp. I have 2 other guitars no problems. Shop gave me a new guitar, after a few minutes the same problem. No connection to amp, stop for a day, then 2 minutes working, then stopping. I have a Katana amp, used 2 different cables and wireless system, nothing works. My new guitar has active EMG pickups, other guitar has passive pickups (one is also a similar LTD, black metal one). Do I have just bad luck with this 2 new guitars? or is it something a can do about it (except for fixing the guitar)I can have a new one, but am considering now going for a LTD EC 1000. But maybe that one will have same problem, but i cant think it is about active pickups, looked all over internet and dont see a common problem there. Anyone have advice?
