How much did you pay for it? I'd assume that's the value of the guitar.

The 200 series guitars from that era are pretty reasonable. The hardware and pickups could be better, but for a guitar on the lower-end of the spectrum, they were pretty well put together.

I've been through the archives of those years and I can only find MH-200 And MH-203. There is no MH-201 anywhere.

$215 with that case is a pretty good deal, IMO.

It came from the 2000-2002 era of 7 digit serial numbers. There's no (published) catalogs from that time, but I had a MH-301 from that era that was pretty awesome. I replaced the pickups first and then eventually the bridge. It was a great player.

In terms of specs, it's obviously a maple and rosewood neck. The body is likely alder or basswood with a maple veneer top. My 301 was alder, so I assume yours is as well.
