LTD B-4E cracked fretboard

    LTD B-4E cracked fretboard

    Hello,

    After 10 months that I have bought my bass i've noticed these cracks attached below

    - i've not changed anything in the truss rod 

    - my gauge is .105 - .045

    - the crack is 7-fret long 

    - i don't leave it in hot places ,usually i take a good care of it

    Do you have any idea about the root cause and what should I do?

    I'd hydrate the board with lemon oil.

        Use mineral oil to give it some moisture, leave it out of the case and repeat, this may help, same thing happened to my Ibanez axion label “s series” 6 string. I could barely notice mine at first, I was bummed out but honestly it doesn’t affect the playability at all. Hopefully my 2 cents helps brother. Nice bass though

          thanks man! definitely doesn't affect playability but my biggest concern that the crack doesn't go any further also will hydrate the fretboard and update you.

            Yeah totally, mine hasn’t gotten any worse, not to say it can’t get worse, definitely trying the oil can’t hurt.
