LTD V-250 serial number

    Hello everyone, 

    Need help figuring out LTD serial number.

    I'm interested in a LTD V-250, which I believe to be from 1999. Only thing is I cannot get info on the serial number. The back of the headstock shows a serial number, but no mention of the country of production.

    I have seen one other LTD V-250 with a similar serial number and have also seen other V-250 with a more traditional serial number E91xxxx.

    Can anyone tell me info on this type of serial number? Is it legit? Has LTD made a switch from a format to another in those years? Everything else on the guitar looks legit.
