EC 1000 Vol. Tone Toggle Controls

    Any information on how the stock controls operation on an EC 1000 Deluxe?  (I thought it was front knob=bridge pickup volume, middle knob=neck pickup volume, rear knob=tone. Toggle - up neck, middle both, down bridge) Mine are confusing at best if not screwed up... 

    Did they ever come stock with split coil option (knob pulls up)?

    Your description is correct if the guitar is wired as-new. Models with passive pickups often had a push/pull or push/push setup for coil splitting.
