LTD EC 1000, fake?

    Hi!

     

    Back in the day I owned an EC-1000, now I want again this guitar. I found one for a good price, but I think it's fake. The seller said, that it has an ebony fretboard, but for me it looks more like a rosewood. I've searched a lot of ec-1000 pictures, and the deluxe writing is not like on this one, here are the letters separeted, and the guitar has double line on the side of the fretboard, if you know what I mean.

    Well, it's a 2006 model. It looks fairly good to me, though it's been played hard over it's life. The nut looks like it's been replaced, and either currently has smaller strings than when it was cut or was just poorly cut. The back contours look good as does the back covers.
