EC-256FM STPSB

Updated
Quiksilver

Hi there,

First time poster.

Has anyone else recently acquired an EC-256FM post-CITES and received the new Jatobra fretboard that looks more Milk Chocolate than Rosewood? Is it just me? is this new norm? if I were to return the guitar, and order a different one, will I most likely get the same colour fretboard?

These don't appear to be as dark as they appear on the ESP/LTD site, but at least the model name has been removed from the 12th fret.

Pic for reference

It is because the darker ones are made in vietnam. The wood that is used is different from what is used in yours. Different factories have different supplies of wood. I suspect yours is made in indonesia?

Just curious, when did ltd use these Jatoba fingerboards?
