    2010 Ltd viper 1000FM Stock 2 Emg 81 Pups???

    So I Installed the EMG Het Set today. I was surprised to find 2 EMG 81 pick ups stock in my guitar. I was Told it had 81 and 85 when I bought it. I assumed I would be able to sell the combo to recoup some cost. Wander how much demand for 81 81 set up. Has anyone heard of an 81 81 combo stock? 2010 Viper Deluxe 1000FM.

    very curious, how your guitar, sounds now with new set i too have a viper 1000 deluxe but with semore duncans its the white an gold one i was thinking about puting that set in mine ?? i sent you a friend request thanks

      I’ve heard of a 81 81 combo on some LTD’s and ESP’s back in the 90’s; but not anything recent-ish. I guess it was a popular choice in the 90’s to have that set up. I had that set up on a guitar, and it personally wasn’t my ideal taste for a set up.
