LTD EC-256 downtune sound

    LTD EC-256 downtune sound

    Hi, i'm interesting to buy LTD EC-256.. i just want to know how does the stock pickup sound if i downtune it to B tuning (Carcass, Amon Amarth). Is the sound acceptable or just plain muddy. Most of the time i will play it thru guitar simulation software.

     Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks..

    They are muddy sounding pickups, the Guitar is a great deal and plays very nice, I replaced the stock pickups, I have 2 EC-256's, that's how much I like this guitar, I put Seymore Duncan Hot rodded humbuckers in one and Bill Lawrence Dimebag's in the other.... they both sound great now..... the Bill lawrence Dimebag pickup is an under rated pickup, sound's killer......
