Yes. There are a lot of factors that play into how frets wear, but eventually they all wear down.

When it gets to a point where it affects playability or gets annoying, you can have the frets leveled and re-crowned, and start the process again. Eventually they'll wear to the point where they need to be replaced, but that's a process of years (or decades).

that's not too bad when it starts to get to the point where there is divots under each string, that's when you start worrying !
