Building EMG's in LTD EC-256

Is it worth to build an EMG 60-81 set in a LTD EC-256? I'm looking for a tight sound with my Peavey 6505+ 112, now it's a bit muddy..

well if you like EMGs this would be a good idea , they are very treblely .

if your looking for a bright pup that is not an EMG you might look into a duncan custom (sh-5) or a duncan distortion (sh-6)

blackouts kick ass but might not be bright enough to fit your application

I dunno about trebley. More like articulate and attack-y
