The ESP Guitar Company

Hi everyone,

I have an old 22F neck that seems to have come from some sort of M-style guitar.

The first guess was that it belonged to an ESP Michael Wilton Empire, but since the black paint on the headstock was running over the edges (you don’t see this even in the crappiest guitars), I decided to apply some acetone to the headstock. The black paint came off and revealed three additional crosses (one of them seems to be flying)

Based on the neck construction (3 piece maple), headstock shape and pencil scribble at the back of the neck (5F-197???), I believe it is a genuine ESP neck, but was hoping someone could shed additional light on its origin.
