Probably been spoke a thousand times, got a few interesting answers from the forum.

I have an older M1 Custom, with some interesting quirks:

There is no serial number - anywhere.

The rear trem plate area has zero of 6 holes drilled, and no plate cover of course.

There is a neck slant pup, old school with fabric covered wires, both pup cavities are the same black flat color.

The humbucker is a Seymore TB5 - the other has a faded out sticker, unreadable, but looks like 2 digits.

My question - is it possible ESP made this custom, adding the neck pup, and not drilling the plate holes, as well as skipping the serial number?

It was shipped to me from Japan a long time ago, and I just started thinking it is odd...

Any help?
