ESP S-500 serial number?

    Picked up a used S-500 and there's no serial number on it. Haven't taken off the neck yet. Also I can't find any info on this model. I know it's early 90's, I assume MIJ, ash body with a maple top. Anybody else have one or know more about them?

    Sorry man, I've never even heard of the model. I assume a Strat copy similar to the 400 series? Any chance we could see a few pics?

        It's definitely older than 95 (the oldest catalog in the "product archives" section), but it looks pretty similar to the Mirage in the catalog. The pickups (in 95) were a JB at the bridge and ESP SS-120 at the neck and mid. I don't know much about them specifically, but the humbuckers from that era were pretty well regarded, so those single coils may be pretty reasonable.
